PATIENT INFORMATION
For International Residents and Visitors to Japan
日本に在住の海外の方・海外からの旅行者の方へ
Language requirements for dental care
The following requirements apply to both international residents living in Japan and travelers visiting Japan.
- Basic communication in Japanese is required to receive dental care at our clinic.
- If you cannot communicate adequately in Japanese, you must be accompanied at every appointment by someone who can interpret accurately between Japanese and your language. Please make sure this person can help you understand our explanations and clearly communicate your symptoms, questions, and wishes to our dental team.
- We do not provide dental care that relies solely on translation apps on smartphones, tablets, or other devices. These apps may lead to misunderstandings between you and our dental team about important medical information, including explanations about your treatment.
This page provides information in English; it does not mean that consultations are available in English. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
